Bøyla

The Bøyla Area includes both the Bøyla and Frosk producing fields. The Bøyla field began production in 2015 and was developed with two production wells and a water injector via a single subsea template, tied-back to the Alvheim FPSO located 28 km North East. The Bøyla structure is channelised turbidite fan system in the Palaeocene with excellent reservoir properties.

The Bøyla Area will contribute about net 1,100 boe/d (93% oil) on average for 2024 and is expected to increase to about 2,500 boe/d when the Frosk Attic well comes online in Q4 2025. Net reserves as of YE 2023 for the area were 1.9 mmboe according to the Norwegian Offshore Directorate. The Frosk Attic well is expected to add net approximately 1.2 mmboe of additional resources.

Frosk

The Frosk field was discovered in 2018 and a test producer was put onstream in 2019. A field development plan was submitted in September 2021 which involved two production wells tied-back to the Bøyla template. Production started in March 2023 only 18 months after FID. An additional multi-lateral production well (Frosk Attica well) is planned to be drilled in the second half of 2025. The Frosk reservoir is an Eocene injectite complex with very good reservoir properties.
