DUGONG

The PL 882 license was awarded in APA 2016, with Dugong (Brent) and Sjøpølse (Intra Draupne) discoveries made in the summer of 2020. Dugong was one of the largest discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in 2020 with gross recoverable resources of 48 mmboe (16% gas) according to the Norwegian Offshore Directorate at YE 2023.

 

The field development scenarios include two production wells and two water injectors via a pair of subsea templates tie-back to the Equinor operated Snorre field. The Snorre Unit carried out a feasibility study and the PL 882 partnership passed Decision Gate 1 (DG1) in January 2024. The partnership is targeting a final investment decision in 2026 with production start-up in late 2029.
