DUGONG

The PL 882 license was awarded in APA 2016, with Dugong (Brent) and Sjøpølse (Intra Draupne) discoveries made in the summer of 2020. Dugong was one of the largest discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in 2020 with gross recoverable resources of 43 mmboe (16% gas) according to Concedo estimates.

 

The field development scenarios include two production wells and two water injectors via a pair of subsea templates tied-back to the Equinor operated Snorre field. In 2025 the operator and the Snorre Unit supported a combined development with the adjacent Beta to the north. The partnerships are targeting a final investment decision in 2027 with production start-up in 2030.
